The 1989 BATMAN™ movie re-introduced movie audiences to a more gothic version of the character; the likes of which had never seen before on screen. Tim Burton’s interpretation of the mythos returned Batman to his darker noir-ish roots, but as always Batman’s arsenal of hardware was a force to be reckoned with.
None of which was more impressive than the Anton Furst designed BATMOBILE. Just as iconic was the modern re-design of Batman’s costume. Its black leather armor established the hero in the real world and was the perfect look to make Gotham City’s criminals run in fear.
This AMT model kit captures every detail of Batman’s iconic vehicle from the turbine engine to computer maintenance panels and authentic dashboard and cockpit. It features an optional grappling hook and twin machine guns. It is injected in black plastic with chrome and clear parts with rubber tires and, for the first time, includes a resin figure of Batman himself.

During the Muscle Car wars of the 1960s and '70s, the Olds™ 442 was one of the earliest combatants and consistently among the strongest contenders. The 442 debuted as an option package for 1964 F-85 and Cutlass™ models which were part of GM’s family of “A” body intermediates. The 442 name originally came from the car having a 4-barrel carb, a 4-speed manual transmission, and dual exhaust. This definition varied over time, but the 442 remained true to its performance mission. By 1968 the 442 became a standalone model, still based on Oldsmobile’s popular Cutlass.
As 1971 dawned the golden era of Detroit muscle was fading, but that year’s Olds 442 W-30 was one of the last true standouts of this exciting period. W-30 denoted the ultimate 442, and it’s the version that Revell choose for this kit. The W-30 performance option package included a specially prepared 455-cube V-8 good for 350 horsepower and a distinctive twin-scooped hood with functional ram air induction, along with bold hood and bodyside stripes.
At the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, much attention was paid to the Nissan "multi-performance sports car." This model had dropped name Skyline and became simply the Nissan GT-R. Along with the name change, the car also had some other mechanical changes, especially under the hood. Gone is the straight six, and in its place there is a twin-turbo V6, which has an amazing 480 horse power with 60kg of torque. With amazing speed and cornering ability, the GT-R has reached the super car plateau.
