In addition to the Coupe, the Carrera 3.2 was also available in the popular Targa version. Since it went on sale in the U.S. in 1964, the rear-engined Porsche 911 has become legendary for its high level of road performance. Today, the 911 Carrera 3.2 is considered to be one of the best classic Porsches out there. Between 1984 and 1989 more than 76,000 911 Carrera 3.2s were built in Zuffenhausen. These were the last of the early 911s, and they played an important part in the constant evolution of this automotive icon.

This model assembly kit faithfully recreates the iconic Enzo Ferrari, which was named after the iconic brands founder. Developed in 2002 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fiber body, F1-style automated-shift manual transmission, and carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes, as well as technologies not allowed in Formula One racing, such as active aerodynamics. The Enzo Ferrari generated substantial amounts of downforce through its front underbody flaps, small adjustable rear spoiler and rear diffuser, which work in conjunction to produce 3,363 newtons (756 lbf) of downforce at 200 km/h (124 mph) and 7,602 newtons (1,709 lbf) of downforce at 299 km/h (186 mph), before decreasing to 5,738 N (1,290 lbf) at top speed.

This model assembly kit recreates the Lancia Stratos Turbo (originally sold as Item 24003 in 1977; not motorized this time) with updated decals, wheels, and instruction manual. The Lancia Stratos was developed by the Italian well-known car manufacturer, Lancia. With a wedge body design supplied by Carrozzeria Bertone, this rear-wheel-drive car employed a midship 2,400cc V6 DOHC Dino engine. This car achieved championships three times at the global rally races from 1974 to 1976, and based upon the Lancia Stratos, the Stratos Turbo was developed as a Group 5 endurance racecar. As the name suggests, it had a turbocharged engine capable of about 520hp.

• The powerful form of the Lancia Stratos Turbo with chin spoiler, over fenders, roof spoiler and rear wing is authentically recreated.

There are fast cars, and then there are ridiculously fast cars. The latter is the type of machine that becomes a legend. The Shelby 427 Cobra S/C® is one of those legends. The product of retired racer Carroll Shelby’s considerable imagination and skill, the original 1962 Cobra was based on a British-built AC Ace roadster that was methodically reworked by Shelby’s team in Los Angeles. Powered by Ford small-block V-8 engines, Shelby’s earliest Cobras quickly earned respect on the street and success on the track. Never one to be satisfied, in 1965 Shelby found more performance—and speed— in Ford’s big-block 427-cubic-inch V-8. It was good for about 425 horsepower and in the Cobra delivered a 0-60 mph time of less than four seconds. That’s more than quick enough for a legend. Revell’s 1/24-scale model kit represents the ultimate street Cobra, the rare S/C (semi-competition) version that in reality was a thinly disguised race car.
The 1969 Chevelle® was the second year of this generation, but it continued to be America’s “Most Popular Mid-Sized” car. It featured small changes from the 1968 model. The SSTM 396 was a $347.60 option package and the 396 c.i. was rated at 325 horsepower in the basic package. The Chevelle® stayed in the Chevy® line up until 1978. But in 1969 it was the height of the Muscle Car wars and the Chevelle was the king of the hill. In fact, you could order a special 396 c.i. with up to 375 horsepower. There were also dealer specials under the “COPO” program, which added to the Chevelle reputation as the best muscle car.

1/24 Sports Car Series no.245
Honda's first passenger production car, the S500 open two seater sportscar, was first announced in the 1962 Tokyo Motor Show, going on sale the following year. After the production termination of its successor, the S800, Honda moved away from producing front-engine/rear-wheel drive sports cars. September of 1998 saw the sensational rebirth of this type, with the announcement of the S2000. This open two seater features the traditional sports car look with a puposeful long nose/short deck styling. Futuristic headlights wrap around the side, appearing to be pulled back, poised for speed. The naturally aspirated 2.0 liter inline-4 DOHC-VTEC powerplant pumps out over 250hp, yet still manages to reduce toxic exhaust emissions to 1/10th the level of its predecessors. The positioning of the engine is also ideal, sitting just behind the front wheel axle in interest of 50/50 weight distribution. The sturdy body and superior road handling, meshed with a four-wheel double wishbone suspension and a newly developed 6-speed manual transmission, offer high tractability and synthesis between car and driver. The inside of the cabin features bucket seats, state of the art digital indicators, and a red button for starting the engine. Of course, the impact safe design, air bag, and all the other safety features of modern sports cars have also been thoroughly considered. Developed in celebration of Honda's 50th anniversary, the S2000 will surely take it place as the 2000cc sports car to beat in the 21st century.

Part of the fifth generation of popular F-Series the 1972 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 featured a 131-inch wheelbase, an 8-foot bed and the deluxe Ranger XLT trim package. As delivered from the factory the Ford F-250s with 4x4 running gear rode well above the two-wheel-drive F-250, thus earning them the "Highboy" nickname. These trucks were equipped with the New Process NP435 - four speed manual transmission and a transfer case separate from the transmission, which required the truck to ride higher than the two-wheel drive counterpart, hence the "Highboy" nickname.
