TAMIYA 1/35 German Panzer Iv/70(A)
Description:
In 1944, the end of WWII, the German Army tried to improve fire power of the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen, and the German Panzer IV/70(A) developed based on this plan. To shorten its development cycle as much as possible, the hull was based upon the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J, which was under production at that moment, combined with the fixed fighting compartment with L/70 7.5cm long barrel gun of the IV/70(V) Lang. The Panzer IV/70(A) also featured stiff wire mesh panels called Thoma Schürzen. Around 280 produced in total and it saw service in both Eastern and Western Fronts.
Tamiya has faithfully captured the German Panzer IV/70(A) in every detail! It comes in 1/35 scale and is sure to attract military history aficionados and modelers alike around the world!

TAMIYA 1/35 US M8 Greyhound Light Armored Car
Description:
The M8 Greyhound was used during World War II primarily as an escort and reconnaissance vehicle. The 6 wheeled vehicle"s light weight made it a maneuverable vehicle. Development of the M8 began in 1941, and it was originally planned for armor support, but was later shifted to reconnaissance. The Ford company developed a prototype in June, 1942. The Greyhound had a Hercules JXD rear mounted, water cooled engine, capable of generating 110 HP at 3000 r.p.m. The transmission had a 4 speed forward, 1 speed reverse gearbox. The six wheel configuration and engine made the Greyhound a stable vehicle with a maximum speed of 88.5 km/h and range of 563 km. The steel plated armor on the body ranged from 19mm to 32mm thick, the open topped turret had 19mm thick armor. The 12.7mm M2 machine gun was added to the cuppola. The Greyhound was also equipped with an M70D gun sight/telescope. The interior could store up to 80 rounds for the M6, 400 rounds for the 12.7mm machine gun and sometimes 1500 rounds for the 7.62mm machine gun. From March, 1943 to April 1945, over 8523 M8s were produced. They were mainly used in Europe, but they also served in the Pacific. The M8 was supplied to the Allies, including Britain and France. It is the British who nicknamed the M8 "Greyhound". Many countries would continue to use the M8 well after this conflict.

TAMIYA 1/35 German Tank Destroyer Elefant
Description:
Elefant Defense
The German heavy tank destroyer Elefant was armed with a powerful 8.8cm L/71 gun which could knock out T-34 tanks at a distance of 2,000m, protected by armor up to 200mm thick, and equipped with advanced features such as a hybrid drivetrain. It had its roots in the Porsche-designed Ferdinand, which was first deployed into combat during the Battle of Kursk in 1943. The lessons learned from that battle resulted in modifications including the addition of a commander's cupola, a machine gun for infantry defense, and better tracks and the enhanced vehicle received the new designation Elefant in February 1944. Elefants were deployed to Italy and the Eastern Front, where they continued to defend against Allied forces until the final skirmishes of the war.

1:35 German 8T Half Track Sdkfz 7/1 - CA150
Description:
Recognising the excellent tractive force and cross-country ability of half tracks, the German Army Ordnance Bureau decided in 1932 to develop six military half tracks, from a 1-ton to a large 18-ton tractor. Different car makers were ordered to develop one of these.
Krauss-Maffeir in Munich took charge of an 8-ton half tracks. Because this firm had given attention and study to half tracks since 1928, they completed a prototype, named KMm7 as early as 1933. It soon developed into the KMm8 and KMm9, and in 1936 the KMm10 was put into production. It was not until the KMm10 was born that the 8-ton half track was officially designated "Medium 8-ton Tractor (Sd.Kfz-7). The last production model, KMm11 was completed in 1938 and put into production immediately.
The production of the 8-ton half track totalled about 1,200 in number by the end of World War II. One of these models was the 8-ton half track with 20mm four-barrelled AA machine gun (Sd.kfz 7/1)

The German Tiger I Tank featured a powerful 88mm gun as well as excellent armor and was the greatest opponent to Allied forces during WWII.
