TAMIYA 1/35 US MEDIUM TANK M4A3E8 SHERMAN
Description:

This is an all-new kit designed by Tamiya’s top designers which recreates the "Easy Eight" variant of the legendary Sherman medium tank. The M4A3E8 was known fondly as the “Easy Eight” by its crews, thanks to the relatively smooth drive afforded by its Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension (HVSS). Another distinguishing feature was its 76mm gun. Some of the 2,500 examples produced were in time to appear in the Battle of the Bulge (Dec. 1944-Jan. 1945), and others even served in the Korean War years after the Allied WWII triumph. Movie buffs will no doubt also recall that the "Easy Eight" was the star of the 2014 hit film "Fury."

THE TAMIYA-DESIGNED M4A3E8 KEY FEATURES

• Slide molded turret and upper hull parts give an unbeatable combination of hassle-free assembly and highly realistic detail levels. Cast metal turret and welded hull surface textures are rendered accurately.
• The rear showcases sharp, detailed molding on engine grilles and exhausts, as well as the numerous accessories depicted by the kit.
• Clear parts are used to recreate light lens and cupola vision block parts, further upping the realism of this kit.
• The single-pin T66 tracks are recreated with minimum fuss and great accuracy, by the included belt-type tracks. Drive sprockets feature fine holes.
• A commander figure in realistic pose is provided for the cupola. The periscope seen on the hatch underside is depicted using separate parts.
• 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 214mm, width: 86mm.
• This is an almost entirely-newly designed model (road wheels and other small parts use existing design), which captures a WWII "Easy Eight" with stunning accuracy.
• Features such as the large turret and powerful gun are beautifully rendered.
• Detailed depictions of the HVSS and single pin T66 tracks contribute to the authentic appearance.
• Modelers can choose to assemble the model with its various hatches open or closed.
• 2 marking options included.
• 1 commander torso figure for the cupola included.

1/35 King Tiger Production Turret
Description:

This is a 1/35 Plastic German King Tiger Production Turret Tank from Tamiya. This kit is recommended for age 10 and up.

In order to counter the increasing threat of Russian tanks during the latter part of the Second World War, Germany began development of a new heavy tank in February 1943.  Officially designated the Panzerkampfwagen VI-B Tiger

This is a highly detailed model of the WWII German tank destroyer Nashorn. The full size vehicle featured an 8.8cm gun also known as a PAK 43 and it was fitted to the upper surface of a light turret less chassis. Even though the vehicle was lightly armored, the PAK43 weapon was capable of penetrating 190mm of armor at 1,000 meters. The Nashorn saw action with German heavy antitank battalions fighting Soviet and Allied forces during much of the conflict. Due to its relatively low cost and superior mobility compared to heavier tanks it remained in production until the end of the WWII war.

TAMIYA 1/35 M113A2 ARMORED PERSON CARRIER
Description:

Tamiya presents a plastic assembly kit for the M113, a veteran Personnel Carrier that played an important role in the 2003 Iraq War. With the fear that important supplies would not reach the advancing U.S. personnel, the U.S. army called on the reliable and mobile M113. This detailed replica of the actual carrier also features extra attachments such as personnel equipment and ammunition cases.
Of the various M113 type personnel carriers developed, the M113A2 began production in June 1979. Based on combat experience in Vietnam, this version was made with improved transmission, operating equipment and cooling system as well as reinforced suspension. Detachable fuel tanks were moved to the rear and external sides of the vehicle, smoke dischargers were mounted on the front, and the trim vane was enlarged. M113A2 units were deployed to the Gulf War in 1991, and in the 2003 Iraq War. The most recent M113A2 active in Iraq was also equipped with Combat Identification Panels (CIP), the latest friend and foe recognition device to prevent friendly attack.

Overall length 153mm
Large trim vane, smoke shell launcher, and external fuel tanks have been accurately replicated.
CIP attached on both sides.
Gun shield can be attached to M2 machine gun.
Plenty of extra attachments including personnel equipment and ammo cases.
Commander and driver figures included Decals for 3 different vehicles deployed to Iraq and one vehicle deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Apart from decals for the vehicles deployed in the Iraq War, 1 set of decals for the NATO vehicle deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina is also included in the kit. To accurately replicate the vehicle we recommend using Tamiya"s NATO Green, NATO Brown and NATO Black colors.

TAMIYA 1/35 German FAMO & Tank Transport
Description:

As World War II progressed, the vehicles used on the battlefields became larger and larger. When these mammoth machines broke down or became damaged, the task of bringing them back from the front lines was not an easy one. This need was especially felt by the German Wehrmacht, who were fighting on a wide range of battlegrounds: from the scorching desert of N. Africa to the railroad lacking plains of Russia. Bringing damaged vehicles back from these difficult conditions was indispensable to replenishing fighting strength to the army. The German 18 Ton Heavy Half-Track "FAMO" and Tank Transporter Sd.Ah.116 was one of the vehicles that contributed to this task. Including all variations, over 2500 18ton half-tracks were produced by the end of the WWII. One of the major types was the tank recovery half-track, which was a mighty towing vehicle equipped with two rows of seats and a flatbed in back for the storage of equipment such as a “draw-bar” and spare wire rope. Tool storage compartments were found on each of the outer sides of the flatbed. In addition, the underside of a vehicle was equipped with a winch. Its powerplant was a Maybach HL 108 12-cylinder engine, which put out 270hp. Tank transporting was conducted by either direct towing with a draw bar, or by loading the tank atop a massive trailer. Officially known as "Sd.Ah.116", the Type 116 Trailer connected with the 18ton heavy half-track, which allowed for the transportation of 22-23 ton class tanks such as the Pz.Kpfw.III, Pz.Kpfw.IV and other heavy artillery.

• Stretching over 640mm, this kit is 50mm longer than the Dragon Wagon and is the longest kit in the MM series.
• The massive trailer unit consists of both the front and the rear wheeled pieces on either ends of the long platform piece.
• Real rubber tires for heightened realism are included.
• This kit features ample metal and metal plated parts for various accessory pieces such as a chain for fixing the tank in tow to the platform.
• Includes eight figures in various poses.

Part#: TAM35388
TAMIYA 1/35 German Tank Panzer I Ausf.B
Description:

This model kit recreates the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B. Although Germany had been forbidden to develop tanks after the defeat of WWI, it developed the Panzerkampfwagen I under the name of "agricultural tractor" to deflect suspicions of rearmament, and the Pz.Kpfw.I became a mass- produced tank. The engine on the Ausf.B was upgraded to 100hp, nearly double the 57hp of the Ausf.A. Also, it had a 40cm longer hull, and a pair of 7.92mm MG13 machine guns were equipped. While the Pz.Kpfw.I was developed for training, it first saw live action in Spain during the Spanish Civil War and was widely used in various situations such as the invasion of Poland and the Eastern Front.

• 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 123mm, width: 60mm.
• Assembly type tracks have one-piece straight sections and depict realistic “sag”.
• Right and left fenders are recreated in a one-piece component featuring anti-slip patterns.
• Photo-etched part authentically depicts exhaust cover.
• Includes one torso figure which depicts a commander. Choose between head sections with beret and side cap.
• Comes with a choice of three marking options to recreate versions which were in service during the attacks in Poland, France and Russia.
