Regarded by many as “The Most Beautiful Car Ever Made” the Jaguar XK-E (E-type) has been an icon ever since. Introduced in 1961, it was based on the Le Mans winning D-type race car. In addition to its great looks, it had advanced features such as disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and independent suspension. The Jaguar XKE (E-type) made between 1961 and 1975 continues to rank number one in most readership poles. Its 3.8-liter engine had 269 hp and gave it a top speed of 150 mph with 0 to 60 in less than 7 seconds. The 3.8-liter cars are referred to as Series 1 cars and of these only 7,828 ever were built.

The highly detailed Chevy small-block V-8 engine can be built with the iconic Rochester fuel-injection system, a factory-stock four-barrel carburetor setup, or hot rodded with chrome dress-up parts including an open-element air cleaner, alternator, and custom finned valve covers.

There are fast cars, and then there are ridiculously fast cars. The latter is the type of machine that becomes a legend. The Shelby 427 Cobra S/C® is one of those legends. The product of retired racer Carroll Shelby’s considerable imagination and skill, the original 1962 Cobra was based on a British-built AC Ace roadster that was methodically reworked by Shelby’s team in Los Angeles. Powered by Ford small-block V-8 engines, Shelby’s earliest Cobras quickly earned respect on the street and success on the track. Never one to be satisfied, in 1965 Shelby found more performance—and speed— in Ford’s big-block 427-cubic-inch V-8. It was good for about 425 horsepower and in the Cobra delivered a 0-60 mph time of less than four seconds. That’s more than quick enough for a legend. Revell’s 1/24-scale model kit represents the ultimate street Cobra, the rare S/C (semi-competition) version that in reality was a thinly disguised race car.
Part of the fifth generation of popular F-Series the 1972 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 featured a 131-inch wheelbase, an 8-foot bed and the deluxe Ranger XLT trim package. As delivered from the factory the Ford F-250s with 4x4 running gear rode well above the two-wheel-drive F-250, thus earning them the "Highboy" nickname. These trucks were equipped with the New Process NP435 - four speed manual transmission and a transfer case separate from the transmission, which required the truck to ride higher than the two-wheel drive counterpart, hence the "Highboy" nickname.

In 1961/62 Chevy made a drastic styling change to their full-size Impala car line. It marked the end of the wild fins era. The ’62 Hardtop featured the new “convertible roof” design. In addition, while racing by the factories was politically incorrect, the ’62 Impala offered the powerful 409 cubic inch V-8 engine and used by drag racers. Starting in 1958, this full-size Impala continues to be one of Chevy’s top selling line of cars. The ’62 model was part of the third generation of the Impalas. It featured more conservative styling than previous Impalas. There were 5 different engines to choose from starting with the 230 c.i. 6 cylinder up to the powerful 409 c.i. V-8.
• Choice of 3 build options include Lowered, Stock, and Drag
• Tree sets of wheels and tires
• Optional interior parts with choice of bench or bucket seats
• Choice of drag racing parts, wheels, and suspensions
• Molded in white, clear and transparent red with chrome plated parts and soft black tires.
