This plastic assembly kit depicts the Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Allied reporting name "Frank"). This aircraft entered service in Spring of 1944 and was mainly tasked with defending the Japanese home islands from attacks by B-29s and carrier aircraft. Modelers may choose to assemble the model with deployed or retracted landing gear as well as open or closed canopy. The Convair B-36 Bomber, a 385,000 pound example of aeronautical achievement, was the world's largest combat aircraft. Entering service in 1948, the B-36 was the primary nuclear weapons delivery vehicle of Strategic Air Command (SAC) until it was replaced by the jet-powered Boeing B-52 Stratofortress beginning in 1955.
Four General Electric J-47 turbojet engines paired in 'pods' under the outer wings supplemented six 3,500 hp Pratt & Whitney engines to accomplish over-target speed in excess of 435 mph. Old sliding type bomb-bay doors became obsolete with the installation of the B-36 snap-action doors, which opened or closed in 2 seconds!
Pressurized crew compartments forward and aft of the bomb-bay accommodated fifteen men, including a four-man relief crew. Communication and passage between compartments was via a four wheeled cart, which ran in a 25 inch diameter pressurized tunnel extending the entire 85 ft length of the all metal circular middle fuselage structure.
The bomber was 162 ft long and had a wingspan of 230 ft. She carried a bomb load of 84000 lb.

Huey Gunship Chopper
During the 1960's, the lack of effective close air support aircraft led to the creation of the UH-1B "Huey" Gunship. Fitted with various guns, these armed helicopters were used quite successfully in Southeast Asia. Your model is fitted with two exteranlly mounted .50 caliber machine gun pods. The "Huey" is the most universal military aircraft of the modern era, serving in all four branches of the American uniformed services and also in the armed forces of at least 48 other nations.
Huey FireFighter Chopper
Although originally designed for the US Army, the Bell Iroquois has become a general purpose workhorse of a helicopter. It is ideal for operation as an executive transport, but has proven to be very successful as a flying crane, ambulance, or rescue helicopter. Equipped with an external belly tank, the Huey is an excellent fire fighter. Due of their size and maneuverability, they are able to get a fire contained in some very challenging topography. With the recent rise in wildfires, this has become even more important. Cal Fire and Washington State's Dept of Natural Resources have found the Huey to be a valuable addition to their emergency response teams.

This unique airplane flew at 2,000 mph at altitudes that are still classified. With high-tech electronic equipment onboard, it gathered strategic reconnaissance information for the U.S. military for over 25 years. Features: Accurate surface detail, can be built as drone carrier (drone included), waterslide decals.
The SR-71 was developed by Lockheed's "Skunk Works" to replace the U-2 high altitude spyplane which had become vulnerable to interception by surface-to-air missiles. The SR-71 is very fast and with a top speed in excess of 2100mph it still holds many world speed records. In the early '90s the SR-71 fleet was mothballed but several aircraft have been reactivated by the continuing need for a manned reconnaissance capability.
