Our Sales Policies

Merchandise Returns:

YOU MUST CALL US FOR AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER BEFORE RETURNING ITEMS!
Some manufacturers insist on dealing directly with the customer for warranty and/or replacement issues.  We will be glad to assist you with purchase records or any other assistance you may need.

Credit Card Orders:
For security purposes, Central Hobbies requires a clear copy of the front and back of your signed credit card from all new international customers. This must be faxed or emailed to us before we can process your order.

PayPal Orders:
Our Shipping Department will send you a separate PayPal Invoice for the shipping charge if your order does not qualify for the standard $9.98 fee. Once this Invoice is paid, we will process your initial payment and ship your order as soon as possible. Please, don't hesitate to call, or E-Mail us if you have any questions.

Back Orders:
Due to ever increasing cost of shipping we can no longer ship back ordered items at no shipping cost.

International: We charge the actual cost of shipping for International back-orders.

Oversize and Insured/Signature Required items: 
Some plastic models and other larger items do not fit in a standard Flat Rate box for shipping and therefore are charge the actual shipping amount charged to us by the carrier.
Engines and other expensive items are insured and require an adult signature to protect you, the customer, and us from loss. These will also be charged the actual amount of shipping charges that the carrier charges us.

Expedited Shipping: At this time, FEDEX does not guarantee any delivery time. There is no refund on expedited shipping if it is not delivered on time.

We can ship your order by 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day delivery.
On Expedited shipments we charge you the acual shipping charges that the carrier charges us.  We will ship by our choice of carrier.

For your protection, all orders shipped from our U.S. store to a point beyond the continental United States will be shipped via a service that includes insurance and tracking.
