GEM 2000 "Electronic Guardian" LEDs

The GEM 2000 (G2K) is far more than a battery monitor. It's a versatile, uniquely designed "real-time" early warning and trouble-shooting device that reads crucial checkpoints, alerting flyers to detectable problems and potential failures for the seven most common onboard failure points. Also indicates the on/off status. Available in several configurations.

Battery Pack	Monitors pack under real-time load conditions, warns of low voltage weak cells, bad cells etc.
Servos	Checks for internal servo faults
Switch Harness	Checks for current flow problems, connection points and continuity.
Receiver	Checks for component faults "point-to-point contacts" cold joints "conductive metal freebees."
RFI Filtering	Checks RFI "noise" rejection circuitry (ceramic filters)
Freq Crystal	Checks for xtal breaks and spring clip loosening.
Tuning Circuit	Auto range check, Warns of range problems due to Tx/Rx alignment, coil Separation "core breaks.
Status Indicator	Indicates Rx on/off status.

CALIBRATION
The G2K's low voltage "trip point" is user-adjustable and has a 4.8 - 10v adjusting range. For convenience it comes preset and labeled for 4.8v, 6v, 7.2v and 7.4v power packs.

INSTALLATION

Note: Avoid mounting G2K and its power lead in close proximity to the Rx and its antenna wire.
