This is a set of Mickey Thompson® Baja Pro™ X 1.0" Crawler Tires. Pro-Line is proud to announce our first licensed 1.0" tire from Mickey Thompson Tires, the Baja Pro™ X! The Baja Pro™ X is a competition-proven extreme terrain tire perfect for your small-scale crawler.
Coming in at 2.3" tall x 0.85" wide, this is the largest 1.0" tire from Pro-Line yet! All the details of this gnarly tire are captured in perfect 1/24 scale detail: from the Tread Biter™ cleats for added traction to the Mud Scoops for added cleaning power, to the Massive Sidebiters® and angled shoulder scallops for ultimate side grip. JConcepts continues to muscle scale off-road items into the market with the introduction of the Tusk 1.0" tire. Available as pre-mounted, the Tusk tire is combined with the #3431B Glide 5 wheel for an easy installation and the ability to head straight to the trail. The JConcepts team used a 2.0" overall size making it a very high-performance and scale-based tire.
The Tusk starts with a V-shaped lug with multiple steps to the sides for additional grip while the gold compound rubber flexes and contours to the landscape. The design team added large, staggered traction bars off the side continuing the V-shape pattern and while the shorter version steps in conjunction with the center lug, the longer version fills a void underneath and meets up near the center line of the tire.
JConcepts has added sidewall lugging for pinch grip and gap crawling and relieved a small portion of rubber for increased flexibility. All traction bars and lugging have relieved cuts and slots on the top to split up the flat surfaces for additional little edges for light dirt, dust, and debris. The sidewall lettering is highly detailed on the Tusk with naming, sizing, and identification.
The major flexibility of the super soft green compound combined with the lug arrangement gives the tire a grippy feel but still maintains that all important scale and performance look. The overall height provides plenty of ground clearance for an abundance of terrain and bossed side-wall logos read with beauty and balance. The tires include a soft open cell foam insert capable of standing up to the compound but flexible enough for sharp terrain.
